#43: Busiest week(s)

The last week of July ends today, but that does not mean my preoccupation will end today.

It just arrived at the midpoint.

The previous week is a bit hectic, there's the bulan penghayatan kemerdekaan's performance to take care of, there's drama competition to concern, and then there's the class.

Yeap, the class, which I have not spoke of since months.

The class's condition is familliar to almost everyone in the school.

Some say it's the same with others, I say: wait till you see you are a 4S1-ian.

The class is well known in the staff room of it's outrageous behaviour, especially in creating the class's condition during lessons. It has not failed to disappoint the teachers.

Now, why am I mentioning the class now?

Well, certainly something has happened.

It is due to months of "small things and matters" accumulated, and form a giant dumphill, waiting to fall and crush. Yesterday, it crushed.

It crushed and shattered, creating a new Hiroshima.

Yesterday, during our History lesson, there are some groups of students out there presenting their group work. As usual, the majority of the class take advantage of the situation to (make noise? chat? talk?) and disrespect the group presenting, and the teacher himself. So, the teacher thought that he had enough, and put away the usual soft character and become mean.

If you know him well, you should know that when he came to this stage, we are overboard.

The class was in standstill for that brief moment, until he left the class. The stillness still lingers, but not for long. Same like many cases throughout the seven months.

So, where's the different part?

The different part: I felt that this is it, I cannot tolerate anymore, it's break and not make anymore, so I left the class, holding that KT badge in the hand, asking for resignation from the form teacher. Permission is denied upon reaching. She call me to hold on, don't give up, and just presevere with the condition etc. etc. I told her, we should not tolerate anymore, the people cannot expect the world to revolve around them, they must move their arses too. Eventually she told me that we can only do what we can do, and there's no point of doing anything on them.

She was right, so I leave, and along the way met the teacher who suppose to come into class. He said that he is busy, and ordered me to "take care" of the class for a moment. I return to class, telling the class that he is busy, and wants me to "take care" of the class, then I continued, "But the point is, take care what? A bunch of students, or a bunch of monkeys?" The majority was not bothered. Returning to the seat, students who are concerned enough about this class came to see me, spoke about their grievances, and helplessness.

The teacher came in later, and hard to do anything further. Then, this student went up in front of the class and gave a great speech. The whole class was in stiffness, and it hadn't leave the classroom so easily. This student spoke after the bell to end school rang. The teacher intervened, and spoke about his thoughts also, then he asked anyone to add. The KK stood up and spoke about the class's cleanliness, and hoping that they will somehow turn a new leaf to do the cleanliness duty.

So, that's about the class. The class went into stiffness, and in great lengths of lugubrious-ness.

And hereby I declare that every year of 30th July, it will be called 4S1/2010 Standoff Standstill Day. Hope that the beyond this storm of standstill, there's a rainbow of change and hope.

Okay, the stiffness may linger a bit longer, or it will just dispersed as soon as we are dismissed by the teacher. Anyway, after the class incident, I straight away headed to the Kelab Wushu AGM, only to find out that I am elected to the post of Head of Coach in the Taichi Group.

Some would laugh after reading, others may be speechless. But, I don't hear much about congratulations. No fear, I don't really expect this post, but I shall do it anyway.

Next week, the busiest week of the whole seven months in school. Monday, Bulan Penghayatan Kemerdekaan launch, Wednesday, Order-picking ceremony and rehearsal, Friday, the DAY.

There are many things to juggle at the same time. There is the ELS, and then there's the new one-Kelab Wushu. But before I forget, I am still the KT of the class 4S1.

Whether the class transforms or remain standing at the own position, waiting time to dissolve it, God knows for now, and we'll shall see it on the August 2, 2010. If it change, I declare August 2 4S1/2010 Redefined Day. If not, the emergency is extended.

The future's not ours to see. We'll just have to wait, with little hope.

#42: It's not the blogging season

I've abandoned this blog quite a long time.

No mood?

Not in a position to write?

No time to write?

No reasons to write anymore?

No blog readers?

Lately, I read an article in In-Tech, a pullout from The Star about technology and computers, and it talks about how internet killed interests of reading books.

Well, somehow it is quite true. And not just that.

First, it was online newsreading killed newspaper, then blog reading killed online newsreading, and then there's Twitter and Facebook, currently the ultimate predator of all in the chains of media.

Facebook kills blogs, and my blog is one of the victim of the merciless.

I'm not complaining. I'm not defaming. But somehow it has some effect on my blog, and hence, my blogwriting.

Still, we can't go away from Facebook after having an account. It now becomes a very crucial communicating tool.

Li Anne's blog: http://paradoxicallysadistic.blogspot.com/ is not affected. Maybe it's just me, not being socialble, or having many internet friends like her. I would try to promote as much as I could.

Maybe this is my fate of blogging. It comes to the day where you have no any reasons to write further, and you back off.

Lastly, I am very, very busy, and hence, I share with you this.

#41: Though not as expected, but still okay with it....

I'm now the Morning Representative for the English Language Society.

Initially, I opt for the post of the President during the interview. Guess that the previous committee have better plans for me.

But anyway, just being a committee member is busy, especially when you are the Form 4 group. Now we are going to busy ourselves with the upcoming Installation. Then there's the English Language Week. Before you could catch your breath, there's the Bulan Penghayatan Kemerdekaan performance. All in a row, waiting for us to be.....

And all of these happened immediately after we were installed (is that a right word?).

Again, one word to summarise all. Preoccupied.

#40: Busy like a...

...bee.

Somehow, the word bee rhymes with the word busy, and coincides with their busy appearance/actions.

Anyway, I am terribly busy these few weeks, resulting the blog being ignored.

I've just ended the NiE Mag INC 2010 craze, and now busy preparing for the piano exam which will be held next Friday. Along with it, the inside-the-school function that will be held on 8/8/10. I am the director, and I am now competing with time to complete the script, and present it before the team, to pick which is suitable to use, mine or June's.

Although busy, I'm quite catched up in the World Cup craze. And yes, I witness Brazil get defeated by the Netherlands.

Now, I will have to resume with my piano practice session. See you soon!
