#12: Intervention possible?

Before I touch on "intervention", let me tell you in brief about Chinese New Year celebrations.

Seriously, not much celebrations held, just the simple celebration of reunion dinner+going back to hometown.

Well, the reunion dinner is different than previous years-we had outside instead of cooking. And we chose steamboat, which is the decision we regretted. For the sake of your wallet and your tummy (and perhaps your ears), do not ever go to this place:

Why? We did not actually enjoy the dinner, as we are forced to have the reunion dinner under the evening sky and with awful, blasting loud, modern "la-la"-style CNY songs. And the food is not that nice and decent.

Hot surroundings over the hot stove, and "hot" songs. What a combination!
-------------------------------------------------------------
Now, let us cool down from the "hot"-ness. But seriously, the weather is so damn hot these days.

The High Court in Kuala Lumpur is not spared with the "heat" too. Since the last few weeks ago, the High Court is the drama "Sodomy Trial II"'s setting.

And the lawyers, both prosecutors and defendants go in and out, again and again, and the pilot episode describes about Mohammad Saiful Bukari Azlan, or also known as Saifool among Facebookers, and his swan song that wants all of our pity towards him and hatred towards Anwar Ibrahim.

After the pilot episode, we can see that the judges 'brought' the whole team to the apartment, where Saiful alleged he was raped. And they seemed to be so obsessed into the trip, they left the defendant in the court house!

After that, it's just like going in and out, back and forth. I really admire Karpal Singh's determination, after all of the appeals that rejected, and all of the judicial review he made that was not accepeted.

Talking about in and out, I thought of YB Pasir Salak Dato' Haji Tajuddin Abdul Rahman's statement in the Parliament:

Minta laluan. Sekarang boleh? Dah masuk dah; Oh, tak masuk lagi? Dia tak masuk lagi? Dah lama tak masuk-masuk. Main tepi saja. Bila nak keluar lagi air dia?
Anyway, I haven't touch on intervention yet.

Is it OK to intervene in one's system?

Is it wrong to intervene one country's system?

Is there a need to bring such crowd and show face?

I know intervening is wrong, but how come many wants to intervene Myanmar's system (and wants An Sang Su Kyi to be released)?

Reason: They care about the people in Myanmar and they want Myanmar's people to enjoy democracy.

Same thing. Australia CARES about Malaysia (most probably to protect their investors), and they know the truth behind this "monkey business"-it is politically motivated. Who would believe that a young energetic guy did not resist against an act of sodomy by an old man? It is absurd. Totally absurd. I would instead believe the story that the young guy had sodomise the old man.

So, it is clear why 50 Members of Parliament in Australia that consist both from the governing party and the opposition party against, with US Senator John Kerry joining the line.

And now I hope that more politicians in the world would join this line to fight against intransparency in judiciary system, or to be more specific, fight against the people that connected the three separations of power which should not be connected in any sense.

But that is just a hope. Not many hope can become reality, but one thing for sure is that do not stop giving up, as hope will become a reality when you believe.
